CityHouse: A Quiet, Persistent Journey Building the Foundation of Asset Management in Vietnam
Throughout the 2010s, as urban life evolved rapidly, CityHouse continued to observe, learn, and carefully adjust each step to better adapt and serve. We believe that service is not measured by scale, but by the ability to listen — every subtle change in customer habits and expectations is a signal for improvement.
In the early stage, two keywords “comfort” and “convenience” guided our operations:
- Fully equipped apartments, ready for immediate move-in.
- All-in-one services designed to save time and minimize hassle during the stay.
However, by the end of the decade, these values had become the “expected standard” in customers’ minds. Modern living demands more — not just a place to stay, but a meaningful living space with depth, amenities, and connection. CityHouse chose to take the next step with both caution and determination: expanding our service ecosystem to elevate the living experience, gradually moving toward a higher concept — living asset management, marking the beginning of our transformation into a comprehensive Asset Management company.
During 2020–2021, as the market was shaken by the pandemic and the serviced apartment model reached saturation, CityHouse was not exempt from the impact. Instead of merely reacting, we returned to our core philosophy:
1. Commitment to Quality – Not Following the Crowd
While the market shifted toward price competition, with many operators cutting costs by reducing services or lowering standards, CityHouse chose a different path: steady and long-term. We maintained our quality while optimizing operations with a long-term mindset, never compromising core values for short-term gains.
2. A Spirit of Continuous Improvement
We do not pursue perfection, but we strive to be better than yesterday. From optimizing our model, adopting technology, building a loyal tenant community, to continuously updating lifestyle trends — each small step contributes to meaningful differentiation.
3. Long-term vision – More than just a place to live, but a legacy.
Crises are moments to redefine purpose. For CityHouse, serving tenants is only the beginning. Our broader vision is to become a trusted asset management partner, helping investors and property owners preserve, enhance, and transfer their assets in a sustainable and efficient way.
We do not choose to grow fast — we choose to grow sustainably. And that choice has helped CityHouse maintain its structure, team, and trust — even in the most challenging times.
A Strong “Three-Pillar” Foundation in Times of Uncertainty
During the most difficult periods, three key pillars enabled CityHouse not only to endure but to grow stronger:
1. Investors – Trusted Partners
Without the consistent support and flexibility of our investors, CityHouse could not have come this far. During the pandemic, they were more than partners — they were pillars of support, sharing risks, adjusting policies, and working together to find solutions. Trust became our most valuable intangible asset.
2. Our Team – The Core of Every Journey
Every member of CityHouse, from operations to front desk, carries a quiet commitment. Despite personal concerns, pressure, and difficult days, they maintained professionalism and dedication. We are fortunate to have a team that consistently prioritizes service quality and customer trust — doing their job well, every single day.
3. Customers – Trust as the Greatest Motivation
Few may realize that messages of encouragement from past guests, or the return of loyal customers during the pandemic, became powerful motivation for the entire team. Their understanding, cooperation, and trust — from following safety measures to continuing to choose CityHouse — are deeply valued. In times of crisis, customer trust is the most valuable capital.
Core Values That Sustain Our Confidence in the Future
Looking back on more than a decade, CityHouse does not claim to be the largest or the most well-known. But we are confident in being among the few who remain committed to core values and a long-term vision — viewing real estate not just as property, but as a legacy to be preserved, developed, and passed on.
CityHouse – Quietly doing the right things every day, together with our partners, to protect what matters most: Time, Assets, and Trust.
